We recall the rock as our lover. We know the rock is obdurate, but we are demanding, confident. We traverse its contours tirelessly until we find our comfort, in a deportment which illuminates a rapport unlike every other man's with the same plateau. It is an equitable kind of triumph -- practiced, perfected, and finally achieved, changing neither, accommodating both.
